Bi-lingual Temporary Personal Care Assistant No Weekends

About the Job:

Need: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Location: Onsite in Rosemead, CA
Bilingual in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese Required

• Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs (activities of daily living) including but not limited to escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, assisting with meals, laundry, etc
• Observe activity on the day center floor to assure participant safety
• Assist with meal service, ensuring participants receive the correct meals and aid with feeding when indicated
• Assist participants with safe transfer in and out of their homes and act as medical escort on vehicles and to medical appointments as assigned
• Maintain personal care supplies such as incontinence supplies and personal grooming

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bilingual in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese Required
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing personal care to the senior population
• CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

• 1+ to 2 years experience
• Minimum Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience providing personal care to a frail or elderly population.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisor and communicate needs effectively.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills..
• Bilingual in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese Required
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must have CA Drivers License and Proof of Insurance
